After a 25 year successful corporate career leading public and private companies, in 2005 Derek started to make direct equity investments into projects and businesses where he could add value as a Board member or Operating partner, alongside Stakeholders, including ownership groups and management teams.

 

Derek's background includes Public and Private company Board and CEO experience. He has a proven ability to successfully develop a Vision for a business, communicate and execute strategy in complex situations and deliver results with immediate and long term impact. working at the Board level with the CEO and team. Derek is an innovative, contrarian thinker with broad-based industry, functional and operating expertise.

 

 

The operating philosophy is based on a 5 step process of value creation, built around building blocks of value. Strong business systems being the underlying basis for sustainable, sales, margin, cash flow, balance sheet and market share growth. The goal being, creation of Stakeholder and Shareholder value.
